Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the Fragment Builder website, the browser game, and the Fragment Builder mobile app when it's available (together, "Fragment Builder"). Fragment Builder is provided by Adnan Vehabović, an independent developer based in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. By using Fragment Builder, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Fragment Builder.

1. The game

Fragment Builder is a puzzle collection offered free to play in your browser, which also installs as an app (PWA) and plays offline. It includes single-player modes (Journey, Practice, Challenge, Daily) and optional online features (cloud sync, global leaderboards and live multiplayer) that require an account and depend on our online services being configured and available. Mobile versions may be released separately. We may add, change, or remove features, puzzle types, modes and levels over time.

2. Accounts

You can play the single-player game without an account. For online features (cloud sync, global leaderboards, live multiplayer) you may create a free account with an email and password, or by signing in with Google. See our Privacy Policy for what an account collects. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must be old enough, under the law of your country of residence, to consent to these Terms and to create an account (see §10 of the Privacy Policy regarding children). You can sign out at any time. Fragment Builder does not yet include an in-app delete button; to close your account and permanently remove its data, email us — see the Privacy Policy.

3. Display names, leaderboards & multiplayer

Your chosen display name appears publicly on Fragment Builder's leaderboards and to other players in multiplayer matches, alongside your scores. It must not impersonate another person, infringe a trademark, or contain content that is unlawful, obscene, or harassing. We may rename, suspend, or remove a display name or account that violates this. Leaderboard rankings and match results reflect gameplay activity reported by your device; while we take reasonable steps to keep them reliable, they are provided for entertainment and are not an audited or certified record.

4. Licence to use

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Fragment Builder for your own personal, non-commercial entertainment. This licence does not transfer ownership of Fragment Builder or any of its content to you.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the game, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by applicable law;
• use cheats, exploits, bots, automation, or unauthorised third-party software to interfere with normal play or to falsify your progress, stars, streaks, leaderboard scores, tournament or multiplayer results;
• copy, redistribute, sell, rent, or sublicense Fragment Builder or its content, except as expressly allowed (see the Press Kit for permitted use of brand assets);
• harass, abuse, impersonate, or harm other players; or share, sell, or transfer your account to another person;
• use Fragment Builder for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that harms, disrupts, or overburdens the service or other players' accounts.

6. Intellectual property

Fragment Builder's code, artwork, audio, design, and the Fragment Builder name and logo are owned by the developer or its licensors and protected by law. You may reference Fragment Builder in reviews, articles, videos, and educational materials, and use the brand assets as described in the Press Kit. You may not otherwise copy, sell, distribute, or create derivative works from the game except as allowed by law or with our written permission.

7. Price & virtual items

Fragment Builder is free to play. The current version does not sell anything, processes no payments, and shows no real advertising. Any prices, "hint packs", or "premium" options shown in the game are not active and will not charge you. If optional purchases are offered in future (for example, in the mobile app), they will be processed by the relevant app store (Google Play or Apple), and that store's payment and refund terms will apply. Any virtual items or in-game currency, such as hints, have no real-world monetary value, cannot be exchanged for money, and are non-transferable.

8. Third-party services

Fragment Builder relies on third-party providers to operate, including Vercel (hosting), Firebase / Google Cloud Platform (account sign-in, cloud save, leaderboards and multiplayer, described in the Privacy Policy), and Google Fonts. If you sign in with Google, that provider's own terms also apply. When distributed through app stores, those stores' terms also apply to that installation.

9. Availability & changes to the service

We aim to keep Fragment Builder available and working, but we provide it "as is" and can't promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free, or that progress and online data (including cloud saves, leaderboard entries and match data) will never be lost. Online features depend on third-party services (such as Google Firebase) and may be unavailable, changed, or discontinued.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fragment Builder is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain warranty exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data or progress, arising from your use of (or inability to use) Fragment Builder. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your mandatory consumer rights.

12. Termination

You can stop using Fragment Builder at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms or to protect the game and its players. Sections that by their nature should survive (such as intellectual property, disclaimers and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the current version; continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the courts of Sarajevo will have jurisdiction, without depriving you of any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the law of your country of residence.
